Learn To Skate Classes

 



Come and learn to skate like the pros. Whether you are 3 or 63 there is a class for you. All ages and levels are welcome. Children as young as 3 can start in the Basic Skills Snow Plow class.  Adults have their own classes. Classes follow the US Figure Skating Basic Skills program which teaches basic skating skills for Figure Skating and Hockey.
Classes are thirty minutes each, twice a week for 5 weeks and cost $125 per session. Classes are taught by Professional Skaters Association and US Figure Skating Instructors along with Volunteer skaters. Class times are Saturday mornings 11:00-11:30 for the lower levels and 11:30-12:00 for higher levels and Tuesday evenings 6:15-6:45 for the lower levels and 6:45-7:15pm for the higher levels. Fee includes skate rental and the public session immediately following the class sessions:Saturdays 12-2pm and Tuesdays 7:15-8:45pm.


2010 Sessions begin as follows: January 5th, February 9th, March 27th, May 8th,
                                                          June 15th, July 27th, August 31st, October 9th, 
                                                          and November 20th


Early Enrollment and Family discounts available.
One time Basic Skills Membership required. Cost is $15 per skater per year. (Annual year July 1-June 30)


Additional classes include: 

Parent/Tot Classes designed to introduce young children and parents to ice skating in a safe environment.  Meets Tuesday mornings 11:30-Noon and costs $50 for five lessons.

Adult Coffee Club designed for adults to learn the basic fundamentals of ice skating. Meets Thursday mornings 11:30-Noon and costs $45 for five lessons.
